#14 - damascus watch

Bonjour,

so, after my introduction, i decided to post a couple of my watches, and i will start with the first one my photographer took pictures off, and is worth mentioning.

The #14 has a 45mm damasteel case with titanium backlid, and ETA 6497-1 in basic finish. The dial and hands are factory made, and strap lugs are titanium.
This watch is one of the first, and is not even close to perfect, but i will post some more watches soon, which are better (i think )

That is really a beautiful watch, style is very different from what I have seen before, damascus is top notch!
Question is damascus made of titanium?

Is it real damascus metal or just a decoration pattern "imprinted" on the case like it can be seen on cheap "damscus looking" knives?

Looks like the case is made of titanium with "Damas effect pattern" but the crown seems to be real Damas...

Am I right?

The steel i use on my watches is the 'real deal' - it's either damascus hand forged by Chad Nichols from US, or my friend Milos Kislinger from CZ, or stainless damasteel by Damasteel SE in Sweden. Like on this one. The uniformity of the pattern is the result of their making process, which is based on powder metalurgy. Feel free to look at their website, there is much more info that i could ever give you, even if i tried my best.

I will be posting more watches over the next couple of days, so stay tuned
