The rattrapante function mechanism

The two superimposed chronograph hands can – simultaneously – perform an unlimited number of timing and split timing operations. This exceptional mechanism is equipped with a two column wheel system, which ensures reliable and accurate control of the two chronograph functions.

The rattrapante function is equipped with a sophisticated isolating system, the purpose of which is to prevent friction causing amplitude losses when the rattrapante is stopped.

Pressing the rattrapante push-piece moves the rattrapante column wheel forward one position. The rattrapante clamp closes, locking the rattrapante wheel. The rattrapante hand is stopped. At the same time, the isolator wheel with its fitted pin, superimposed on the rattrapante wheel, shifts the rattrapante lever, thereby isolating the seconds heart cam.
Pressing the rattrapante push-piece a second time changes the rattrapante column wheel position again. The clamp opens, releasing the rattrapante wheel. The isolator releases the isolator wheel and frees the lever, which returns to its initial position against the seconds heart cam.

Et j'aime encore plus le melange des couleurs, peu habituel!

euuuh, pour un ignare de mon espèce, rattrapante je connais, mais foudroyante ? Kézako ? Une complication qui entraîne un coup de foudre mécanique ?

La foudroyante, c'est une aiguille qui fait un tour par seconde. Ici à 9h.

Ce qui permet donc dans ce cas une précision au 1/6 ème de seconde, j'ai bon ?

44mm par 17mm ça commence à faire !

A moins qu'un truc m'ait échappé, le poussoir à 2H fait départ/arrêt / RAZ, et celui à 4H commande la rattrapante (ou l'inverse) ? ce qui ajoute un peu encore à la complication et assure à mon goût un meilleur équilibre visuel que pour d'autres rattrapantes.
