A limited edition of 50 pieces, this watch pays hommage to Montana, the 41st state of our Union and the namesake of two great combat ships.

The case, in stainless steel, measures 44.5 mm in diameter. Movement is the ETA Valgranges caliber AO7111 Swiss automatic which is COSC certified as a chronometer. The strap is black caiman. The dial is snow-white enamel

“We wanted to give it a vintage look, not unlike the old American-made porcelain dial watches of the early 20th century,” says Bozeman Watch Chief Designer Patrick Ayoub. “Very few companies are working with enamel, but we feel it really brings this design to life.”

Novel, hand-applied “BWC-blue” Roman numerals at the hours, and a touch of red and logo counterpoint on the constant seconds hand complete the dial.

As with all Bozeman Watch Company timepieces, and furthering the company’s “One for the Community” project, a portion of all USS Montana monies goes to a non-profit organization; in this case the veterans’ group the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association (PHSA). In December of 2006, a Bozeman Watch Company representative will travel to Honolulu for the 65th anniversary memorial to present the PHSA with the funds in appreciation of those many sacrifices – made so long ago – which still resonate so clearly today.
