- As everybody knows, the HBG time signal of Prangins was stopped on Dec. 31, 2011 for financial reasons. The 2 residual antennas of 125m, leftover of the construction in 1932 of a long-wave radio for the League of Nations in Geneva (SDN), and reused for the HBG time signal from 1966 to 2011, will be destoyed by explosion tomorrow at 14h local time.
As a souvenir, I send you the reproduction of a postcard of 1939 showing the large field of antennas at that time.
