The grand opening of the second brand running boutique of Glashütte Original in China will be celebrated on 28 June, 2012, in Shanghai.

The boutique is locates in one of the luxury shopping landmarks of Shanghai-Xin Tian Di Area. Following the successful opening of the first brand running boutique in Oriental Shopping Mall in Beijing, this will be the second store in China offering full collections of exclusively fine timepieces by Glashütte Original. In the presence of Mr. Yann Gamard, President of Glashütte Original worldwide, Ms. Susan Chan, President of The Swatch Group China, Mr. Jeff Wang, Brand Manager of Glashütte Original China, Mrs. Carrie Liu, Commercial General Manager of Shui on development limited, the new boutique will be officially inaugurated at 4:00 pm.

As a special guest of honor, Mrs. Carrie Liu, Commercial General Manager of Shui on development limited, will also attend the official opening and participate in the ceremonious cutting of the ribbon. Selected media representatives from Shanghai are invited to attend this special event followed by a tour through the new boutique, media interviews, and a dinner.

The new boutique will be the second mono-brand store by Glashütte Original in China, featuring the full range of the collection including novelties such as the Senator Diary and the Seventies Panorama Date. An interactive Brand Experience system guides the visitor virtually through the Saxon manufactory and gives further insight into the timepieces Handmade in Germany.

The opening of the boutique in Shanghai is part of a global roll-out plan of the new design concept of the German watch manufacturer. With its carefully selected materials, stylish furniture and display cabinets as well as its contemporary overall appearance, the boutique reflects the values the manufactory stands for: technical perfection, modern design, and timeless elegance.

The Glashütte Original Boutique’s initial hours will be from 10 am to10 pm. ■

Je trouve que les boutiques avec un agencement type Breitling sont plus originales et bien plus accueillantes aux amateurs passionnés que cette belle boutique mais finalement assez traditionnelle.
Ici chez GO, on s'assied face au vendeur pour essayer, alors que chez Breitling, avec leur système de banquette à table rotative, c'est le vendeur qui s'assied pour vous et en face de vous.
Comme quoi la créativité et l'innovation peuvent aussi concerner les lieux de vente, et là j'avoue que cette boutique du Swatch Group est finalement trop conventionnelle.
Mon avis à 2 cents.

N'oublions pas qu'entre Breitling et GO il y a un écart de clientèle et de cible.
La cérémonie de vente doit s'adapter

Oui, tu as raison. Mais je trouve que l'achat d'une montre représente un moment fort en passion, et pour une nouvelle boutique, je trouve que GO (et le SG) aurait du aller plus loin dans son concept.
A la limite, lorgner vers les concepts à la Patek ou Audemars...
